My name is Selim and I’m very excited to have you here!

Welcome to my corner of the internet, a space where I express my passions for art, hospitality and entrepreneurship. Here, I share my thoughts, explore my creativity and discover the joys of life.

A little bit about myself: I was born in Budapest, Hungary and live in Brussels, Belgium where I am currently studying business at university. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and series, listening to live music (especially bossa nova and jazz), going to cafes, cooking and baking, chatting with friends over food and drinks, speaking and learning different languages, and organising and planning (if you can even call that a hobby). I absolutely love travelling and a goal of mine is to visit every country in the world. I’d also like to start my own business one day and I’m currently dreaming up a plan to open a cafe. 

My passion for hospitality led me to divide this site into two parts, firstly the blog where I share anything and everything that inspires me, from simple pleasures to the complexities of life, and secondly the hospitality page, where I review establishments in the industry and other interesting businesses and entrepreneurial projects. 

At the heart of it all, I am a curious soul, endlessly fascinated by the human experience. This blog is a reflection of my journey to self-discovery and with it I aim to get inspired and maybe even inspire others.
